Ok I wanted to write a short post about Christmas Decorations shopping also to take sneak appear at two of the leading department shops who have just opened their Christmas shop.

Initial of all let’s talk about the well-known store Harrods. There Christmas decorations are on the second floor. 1st impressions extremely tiny layout compared to the other years. Not considerably imagination has gone on this year there was a Katherine’s Collection Father Christmas just sitting on the floor not very imaginative at all. I also felt the high quality of the Christmas decorations was of the poor side I just do not know what’s going on does no one have any thought how to display the staff should get paid properly for doing this.

Also as I stated earlier it felt a lot smaller even from last year. Also there was no theme. I just felt there was no care at all just the expression properly its august let’s just stick the tree out and just location the decorations more than there, let’s get the sales in that is all we need to have to do.

A message to the Christmas designers for Harrods lets have far more good quality please. 5 years ago it was magical to go to Harrods for the Christmas decorations there themes had been well breath taking and one thing to keep in mind for many years on.

Anyway that is my believed on Harrods Christmas world for 2010.

Now let’s talk about Christmas Selfridges, myself and some buddies come down to London to see the decorations in Selfridges and was lost for words with the tatty display we were seeing, I kept searching around to see what there was that i could get to take back with me and come back with not a single decoration, we just kept searching at one and other saying what is the theme and why are we seeing so a lot of tatty glitter plastic items. I just could not comprehend that the buyers must have any months to program ahead, and also get the theme to a magical theme had been we would say wow that’s amazing, but sadly I could not wait to leave. I even asked one of the members of staff what the theme was and he stated he did not know, i even asked for some of the properly known manufactures like Katherine’s collection as each and every year we enjoy collection the theme, and he did not know what we were talking about, so my friend stated well we need to go property and appear on the net it’s got to be much better than wasting any a lot more dollars walking around the shops at tatty points. The only factor I truly liked had been the Christmas cards I found this my opportunity they were genuinely good they are created from 5 dollar shake so least I liked something. So my finally my  thoughts on two leading departments in London they really should look at how the Americans do there Christmas decorations I feel they could discover allot from them!

O properly lets wait till Christmas 2011 and see what they will be providing us the consumers.
